VEGETABLE MEDLEY
"Lettuce join the others on the dance floor,"
he implored.
"Alas, I cannot, my corn aches so," she replied.
"Pumpkin, we'll do a slow waltz,"
he implored.
"I am afraid you will squash my toes, "she groaned.
"Look sweet pea, I will be most careful,"
he implored.
"No, no, I am just too beet," she sighed.
"Olive you alone if you'll just give me one dance,"
he implored.
"Stop, stop! You carrot to far," she cried.
